12 year old Angry Birds fan makes Real-Life version using Pumpkins

A 12-year-old Angry Birds fan has taken his passion for the addictive gaming phenomenon to new heights by making his own version of the game using pumpkins as cannons. 

Sam Beards built his own real-life version of the game after spending hours playing the small-screen version, which is enjoyed by more than 12million players around the world, on his iPod. The cannon uses compressed air to fire a pumpkin up to half a kilometre. ‘I like the game and my brothers and I thought it would good fun to take the idea from Angry Birds and put it into real life,’ said Sam.

Mighty Eagle Now Available in Angry Birds Rio

Some information about the v1.3.3 update:

• A separate In-App Purchase is required to obtain the Mighty Eagle in Angry Birds Rio. In other words, if you already purchased him in Angry Birds Classic and/or Seasons, you will have to purchase it again in Rio. In my humble opinion this is to be expected as these are separate apps.
• It seems the 3-star minimum for Carnival Upheaval 8-5 has been raised. It was previously 65,000, but now I have 1 star at 78,000.

Angry Birds Seasons Ham’o'ween Now Available

Here is the  Ham’o'ween Trailer if you haven't seen it already, the Angry Birds Seasons Update was Released this morning. The Angry Birds Seasons Ham’o'ween update (v2.0.0) is now available for iOS and Android via the Android Market and also features the BRAND new Orange Bird!

This update includes:

• New Orange Bird! The Orange Bird is unlocked on level 1-4. He’s a tiny little guy, but he’s hiding a “big” secret. You can trigger him to MASSIVELY inflate at any point in-flight or about 2-seconds after contact.
• Seasons episodes are now broken down in two categories: 2011 and 2012
• 30 new levels all themed for a slightly darker Halloween
• One Hidden Golden Egg and a bonus “Big Black Pumpkin” Golden Egg level
• 6 new achievements, which are currently available on iOS only
• Seasons Greeding 1-16 feather threshold is lowered. Congrats to those who got their badge before the threshold was changed!
• The Golden Egg numbering has been removed completely!
